Last week we wrote an introductory post about Pinterest, but since the platform has become so famous so quickly, I thought it would be nice to look into it again. With increasing popularity among the users, a lot of marketers are now looking at Pinterest as a new area of interest.

Before jumping on to the band wagon, it is best to make a note of your expectations from this channel – if you wish to create awareness, increase visibility, promote sales or anything else. People who have used Pinterest so far would clearly realize that it is not a site where marketers can sell. Another thing to consider is whether or not your product is a right fit for this platform. In the infographic , there are a list of suggestions on what to do once you have decided to be on Pinterest.
