Facebook Fan Page Timeline Tutorial [Infographic]
Facebook timeline has got off to a great start with a lot of brands already onboard with the new format. A recent article in Simplyzesty.com quotes that as many as 8 million brands have converted to the new timeline by now. All those who are still on the old format, will automatically get the new Timeline on March 30th, 2012.
On our blog, we wrote about different features of the Timeline for brands on the day of the announcement followed by the changes in the new Facebook guidelines for brands. Here is a recap of the Timeline features through an infographic, along with some suggestions to make your Timeline better and more functional.
About the Infographic:
I borrowed this infographic called “Facebook Fan Page Timeline Tutorial” from Brand Graphics. The infographic demonstrates different features of Timeline along with suggestions to make good use of them.
New Timeline features like cover photo, milestones, Admin Panel, Pinning of posts and the drop down menu. The infographic is quite self-explainatory. Take a look and tell us how you found it.

Hi there. I’ve always liked the old one because of the ability to show the owners on the fan page. It prevents people from landing on fake pages who are pretending to be yours. Does the time line also have this feature? If not, is there a way for us to prove that our page is the real one even without the profiles of the owners showing on the page?
Hi Ching. Yes, you would still have the option of adding featured page owners on the Timeline view. You do that in your page settings and it then appears in the ‘about’ section. Good luck.
