Third Year of Bees Awards

Bees Awards, one of its kind international social media marketing awards for communication professionals, will be held in San Francisco on 24th of May, this year. In past these awards have provided insights into some great campaigns and their amazing results.

We at Mindjumpers, are looking forward to this year’s awards and are a bit  more excited than usual, since we have been invited to be a part of the international jury.

As social media has become a global and highly effective marketing tool for brands and organisations around the world, Bees Awards is one of the initiatives that puts it in focus and conveys its importance. Many companies have misunderstood how to handle and use social media to their advantage and I think it’s great that more people can be inspired with great work that has been done within the field.

Last year, Bees Awards received entries from 33 different countries across five continents. The majority came from big international brands such as Ford, Disney, Pepsi and Toyota. This would be the third year in a row that the award is being held and good work within the field of social media is being given attention to. Some of the winning cases during the years are campaigns such as Pepsi’s Refresh Project and Toyota’s Sponsafier. Two creative campaigns that had full focus on user involvement and made success results for the both companies. I’m looking forward to see this year’s nominees and final winners.

The jury for Bees Awards will together identify the best marketing efforts within social media, over the past year and with that define standards and best practices for the future. I talked with Jonas Klit Nielsen (CEO & Founder of Mindjumpers) about his thoughts on being invited to be a part of the jury. This is what he says:

It will be a fantastic experience to get insights into the newest and best social media marketing campaigns that have been done around the world. I really look forward to share the insights with the readers of our blog. Being invited to be part of the jury is also a big kudos to all of the employees at our agency who  have been working really hard the last three years, to position us as an international full-service social media agency.

Bees Awards will be open for entries until the 4th of April. Visit the page here.
