Getting started with a social media initiative does not necessarily require a lot. Yet there are some vital considerations to go through before getting on board. I found this neat infographic, which I think covers some crucial elements. It is often my impression that someone within communications or marketing inside an organisation set up for instance a Facebook page without having thought through a plan for content and maintenance. Or often also without the proper ressources to back up the initiative.
The following infographic presents some of the strategic steps that is useful to go through before establishing a sustainable social media initiative. After having made a plan, it doesn’t have to exhaust your ressources to maintain the initiative, as responsibilites, content plan and the general work flow has been drafted and set in accordance with the organisation.
