The World of Social Media EquivalentsAt the homepage of Thomas Crampton, we found these interesting infographics each of them showing which social media platforms that are used in Asian countries China, Japan and Korea respectively.

The outer circles of the infographics illustrate the social media platforms commonly used in the western world, whereas the inner circles present the equivalents to these in the Asian countries.

The different types of platforms represented are social networks, message boards, blogging platforms, micro-blogging platforms, platforms of instant messaging, video sharing, photo sharing etc. At Crampton’s homepage, readers have left comments with suggestions of other elements to add to the infographics.
