Now, with even more than 150 million active mobile users on Facebook, the development of Facebook mobile has gone very fast. More and more users have joined the platform, and together with the constant introduction of new applications, it keeps attracting more individuals to Facebook mobile. If we just take a look at the difference of users in 2009 and 2010 on the infographic (compiled by FlowTown), it’s easy to spot a great increase.

The 3rd of November, Facebook also introduced the new initiative called “Deals” which is a further development of “Places”, so that shops, cafés, restaurants etc can give their users/customers great offers when they check in. This will probably attract a new and large amount of users. For businesses, it’s a very interesting marketing tool – and especially with the great number of users in mind.
