Sometimes you just stumble upon that little gold mine of relevant information.
One of the most important things when we talk to both clients and potential new clients is giving examples on what others have been doing – best or worst practice.
So, to have an agency and to work with social media marketing for a living, works best if you are constantly updated on what people and companies are doing or have done around the globe.
You might know of this, I might be to late – it’s not exactly breaking news, but if you haven’t and are interested in cases on social media marketing this might come in handy.
In 2008 a list were published as a blog post at Being Peter Kim with 130 examples.
The list were actually build as a wiki and over the next three months the list almost tripled in size from community contributions.
Today there are more than a 1000 examples spread onto three different ‘master lists’
Not all can be used, because they link to a campaign that are no longer running, but even those that don’t work will give you an idea about campaigns that have existed.
Hope you can use this little – for myself – a gold mine.
And please it’s a wiki, so if you have any good examples, do contribute and keep it updated.
