Google has introduced real-time search that provides you with ongoing updates from around the web on your search topic. This is an interesting turn in the development of how we can get access to the abundant amount of knowledge and information created online each second.
The new Google feature will include updates from social media networks. Twitter updates have already been integrated and in the coming year, Facebook and Myspace updates will be integrated too, according to Google.
The real-time data will be shown on Google’s normal results page.

“This is a technical marvel, getting all these updates in seconds, making them searchable right after they are posted and making them available so that anyone in the world can find them,” says Google’s vice-president of search Marissa Mayer to BBC.
I think it is always worth noting whenever Google introduces a new feature. Due to Google’s magnitude, I somehow expect new launches to have a certain impact on the web and online communication in general.
The real-time search will also work on iPhone and Android.
