If you have a YouTube account, it is now possible to see in our YouTube home page whenever a Facebook Friends publishes a new video. Apparently YouTube is socialising it up. Recently they have also made it possible to connect with Twitter and Google Reader as well as the YouTube site has started to suggest friends from your Gmail contacts.
More and more online services get connected and are collaborating to make our online identity and activities more consistent. This also makes it more efficient to use social media, as we do no longer need to log in to each single network to share things.
For instance, by using Facebook Connect, your friends will automatically know whenever you upload a video to Flickr, add a new Bookmark to Delicious or like a song on Last.fm and so on. And lately Google integrated Twitter updates in their new real-time feature.
However, this also requires that you pay attention to which content you want to automatically share with your different networks. Usually this can all be managed in your account settings. If you want to enable the Facebook feed on Youtube, go to the YouTube accounts settings page.
