Celebrate Thanksgiving right now on Twitter during TweetsGiving. Until Thursday, you can join TweetsGiving as part of a 48-hour worldwide campaign and share whatever you are grateful for.

The purpose is similar to Twestival: to use social media to raise money for a good cause. But in TweetsGiving, the idea is to think about what you are thankful for.

TweetsGiving is a good example of engaging online communities for social good. It really makes sense to use social media to share your thoughts and to remind yourself as well as others to give some as well. Last year, the campaign raised more than $ 10,000, which was used to build a school in Tanzania.

Participate in TweetsGiving by sharing whatever you are grateful for on Twitter, your blog, Flickr, Facebook, Youtube or Blip.fm and use the hashtag #tweetsgiving and a link to tweetsgiving.org – or you can go to the site and make a donation to the twitterkids in Tanzania.
