This time, Facebook is teaming up with ‘Chase Community Giving’ to raise and give $5 million in donations to four different charities.
If I understood it correctly you search for the charity you want to donate to, and nominate them. In round one, you can nominate up to 20 charities, and I guess the ones with the most votes will go on to round two. In any case, a special advisory board will donate an additional $1 million to a charity.
I think it seems pretty cool, and I’ll definitely be hooting for Facebook to reach their set target of $5 million. Check out their facebook site and their video introducing the Chase Community Giving ;-)
