MoveOn is a family of American organisations that works on making the real American’s voice heard in politics. With 5 million members across the country, they work together, fighting for a more progressive Amercia. MoveOn is a way for busy but concerned people to find their political voice in a system dominated by big money and big media. –They consist of many people and small money, but social media is giving them a possibility of making their voices heard.
Right now the movement is fighting for health care, as millions of Americans can’t afford to wait for a real health care reform. To remind the politicians in Washington of the urgent need of a reform MoveON got a little help from R.E.M and put this very powerful video on YouTube. 266,513 people have currently viewed it.
