I came across this absolutely amazing goose-bumping organization, charity: water.
If you haven’t heard about it, it’s about providing clean water by building water wells to places in Africa. The first water wells were built in Ugandan refugee camps. The strategy for charity: water has been simple. It’s about asking people to donate a very small amount of money to provide people who do not have access to clean water, clean water!
Charity: water has in its three years lifetime provided clean water to almost one million people.
The organization was founded by Scott Harrison in 2006, who asked his friends to donate 20$ for his 31st birthday instead of a birthday present. Check out their amazing video. I’m touched. Goose bumps touched.
