A lot of things have been said about Visit Denmark’s Danish Mother Seeking campaign, so I feel it’s time to move on. This might be a good time to get some positive stories about Denmark out in the world.
The official website Denmark.dk by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark has a feature called Blogging Denmark. This feature encourages expats living in Denmark to blog about the country so that tourists can read about Denmark from a foreigners point of view.
I think it’s a great idea for a number of reasons. One of the most important reasons is that we know that people generally trust peer opinion more than any type of marketing communication efforts.
Now this is my request: If any foreigners in Denmark who love to live here for all the reasons we love living here - then send them the link to Blogging Denmark and ask them to share there experiences, thoughts or opinion about living in Denmark. This way we can hopefully build a strong base of good reasons to come and visit our wonderful little Denmark.
