Ok I hope that people reading the article I will refer to in a few seconds do not attempt to become ultra, super duper cool hackers by attempting to do this.
Being on a quest to decide whether to get myself an iPhone or a Blackberry, having bugged and cross examined my friends who have either or both about how, why, what, what not, and reading a stream of articles on which one is better for what, and topping that off with trying out my brother-in-laws iPhone (the biggest apple fan ever), I was finally able to make a decision that yes, iPhone IS the way to go….that was until a friend of mine shared the article below with me about how researchers could hack their way to an iPhone, taking all power and control of the 4.5 inch hottie that may become an intergral part of my life. In any case, I am left here standing wondering whether anything in life is safe, especially nowadays, in the world of social interaction, where bank accounts, emails, social websites and literally everything else is being checked over a phone.
Personally, the most sensible thing to do IS to jump into it wholeheartedly knowing that you might as well enjoy the ride until some genius researcher finds the time, energy and sense of revenge to manipulate with your (i)phone. Check out the article, quite interesting, and if I was Steve Jobs….or the US government, I’d hire them.
