OK, so one thing I absolutely love about the internet is that everything moves so fast and everything happens so quickly. It’s like people online are on the go 24/7, which is cool, because it gives you a sense of movement and that things are happening and you can join, participate, do something, read something, update something, wohoo!

A few days ago I “accidently” went to a webpage (some twitter url Mike Myers had posted) where it just said ’sign up’ and get followers, without further explanation. So without further ado, I entered the website, and STILL didn’t understand what it was all about. So in my rush to continue getting back to twitter, facebook, delicious and so on I just logged out of that site. Now, not having my digsby at my work computer, I didn’t realize that my twitter updates was twittering away with posts like “WOW want 10,000 Followers, EASY!” or “WHOA! Get over 300 followers EVERYDAY from: http://bit.ly/2btuR”.

Apart from the obvious spamming issue, I asked myself, apart from Aston Kutcher, who else would want crazy amount of people following them on Twitter? Isn’t social interaction about communicating with an audience that is relevant? And isn’t is silly to have people following you for the sake of following you? I must say, unless you are in a heavy contest against the CNN, don’t sign up for this application. Mike Myers, by the way a day later or so had tweeted “Avoid this twitter service – http://needfollowers.com/. It starts spamming under your twitter name – and then hides the way to get out.” So obvisouly another lesson learned in my twitter life is, don’t just do things because cool celebrities recommend them on their twitter updates (duuh!)

So, Mashable has a twitter url today on “The Fastest Way to Update Twitter and Facebook from Your iPhone” I must regretfully disagree, and say no, the fastest way to update your Twitter from your iphone indeed is to sign up to http://needfollowers.com/.

We have on purpose not put any active links to needfollowers.com in this post ;)
