In a earlier blog post dated the 17th of April “Asthon beat CNN on Twitter a coverage on the race”, I described how the actor Ashton Kutcher (twitter name @aplusk) in the final hours beat CNN in the quest for reaching 1 million followers on Twitter.
That is not even 2 months ago, and probably also showing the growth rate of Twitter, Ashton have reached another milestone – getting 2 million followers, and at this time with no competition from CNN (@cnnbrk) which only at this time have close to 1.65 million followers.
Another rising star on Twitter is Oprah (@oprah), she started sending her Twits around the time when Ashton hit 1 million, she now has more than 1.2 million followers, with that growth rate , Ashton better watch out. ;)
