There has been said and written a lot the last 3-4 months about the new Iphone3GS, and it’s finally here.

Iphone 3GS

We are of course also going to comment on it – or actually I think I will just show you this little video and song made by the very talented Julian Smith.

Yes, i’ts not the first time I am posting Julian’s stuff, and it’s simply because I think the boy’s got talent – he is a brilliant example of the net generation – truly inspiring.

Enjoy ;)

added comment after posting this: Julian Smith also got this video commented on Mashable – well done Julian.

If the next generation is all about getting personal attention while leaning against popular brands like Apple and Facebook, then I guess it’s ok. Doesn’t do anything for me though ;)

First of all thanks for your comment Michael, and of course that´s one way at looking at it. I spend some time reading different studies on the Net Generation or Generation Y as some call them. And got to the conclusion that its broadly misunderstood that they are craving for attention, they are just using the for them totally normal things they have grown up with as facebook and Iphones – both as a way of expressing them self, but also commenting on them – for this generation Facebook is as normal as TV/Radio or a channel as DR is for me. And I know my generation would lean up against that when expressing them self, which for my parents generation in the beginning might have seem as getting a little undeserved attention. And put in the perspective that they created for example facebook – I do understand they “lean” up against it. If anyone would like to read something really good about the Net Generation, I can really recommend Don Tapscott – “Grown up digital”. ;) Jonas
