We’re so used to sharing our thoughts and ideas on social platforms like Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook we update our status with information about ‘What’s on our minds’ and on Twitter we answer the question ‘What are you doing?’ in just 140 characters. Why not take these actions out into the real world and have people write their thoughts and ideas to each other on say, a beer?
As a part of the campaign I do 30, which is about saving CO2 by washing at 30 instead of 60, we’ve created an event at Roskilde Festival where dirty festival goers can have their laundry done for free at 30 degrees. To really take the message home about going from hot to cold, we also let the festival goers swap their warm beers for cold ones.
When people swap their warm beer we encourage them to write a message, an idea or a piece of advice on how to save CO2 or help the planet in other ways on the cans. So when someone picks up the beer when it’s nice and cold, he or she also gets some important information on how to make our planet cleaner.
It’s all about spreading the word.
