New employee at Mindjumpers

Written by Jonas Klit Nielsen

Yeaahhh – love to tell you that we have found another member to our Mindjumpers tribe.

Her name is Thilde and she is our first full time Project and Communication consultant.

We convinced her to move from Aarhus to Copenhagen to work at Mindjumpers, which practically means that she has to sofa surf until she gets her own apartment in the beginning of June, and yes we love that attitude – we are wicked :)

I have done what every new employee hates: given Thilde four simple/stupid questions to make here talk a bit about herself – and here they are, with a nice little picture of Thilde.

Thilde Vesterby

Tell us about yourself in a Tweet – using only 140 characters.
I hold a BA in Communication and an MA in Aesthetics and Culture. I’m passionate about communication and art and combining the two in creative communication strategies.

Why work for an agency like Mindjumpers?
Because Mindjumpers lets me do just that. They’re not afraid of experimenting with creative communication solutions and would rather take a risk and maybe a step in the wrong direction than not move at all.

Why did Mindjumpers hire you?
I told them that I was right for the job – and they believed me.

How do you see communication in the new era?
I’m really fascinated about web 2.0 and sharing and I believe that the new online platforms hold a great potential for companies to have intelligent conversations with people and learn from them instead of just mass communicating one way messages. The dialogical communication in social media platforms enables companies and organisations to get priceless input on how to refine their brand.

    Congrats to you all..

But when you write ‘communicate with people’
What do yo mean in that sense?

To whom? Stakeholders? Shareholders? With what purpuse?
And why is the new media better, it is not about
The possibilties in communication alone, you still
Have to have a spin of thoughts and a true message or as we say in danish ‘noget på hjerte’.

And at last, how is Mindjumpers different? Don’t they just do what every other business like theirs are doing, a little Twitter, facebook, blogs…?

    Yo!
