I know it can be seen as a little weird, but when you are deeply interested in social media – the race on Twitter to reach 1 million followers first between CNN (@cnnbrk) / Larry King (@kingsthings) and Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) is very interesting…
It´s not only the battle of David vs. Goliath not one man vs. a multinational media organization, not that Kutcher is incredible cool – the new era – it´s the new society…
Ashton challenged CNN – if he won he would go and “ding dong ditch Ted Turners house” and Larry King picked up the challenge for CNN (You can see the challenging videos in my post “Showdown on Twitter…”

One of the highlights of the race were when Ashton went live on UStream.tv/ashton – really fun were when he introduced his dogs – cause nothing like showing dogs in an election as he said – one of the dogs is called Bama – and when the dog does good – they say Obama… Ashton and Bama made a duet – “Bridge over trouble water” – that did not sound to good :) And Of course he were supported in the background the whole time by Mrs. Kutcher (Demi Moore).
And while writing this I am listing to Ashton´s stream – and it´s truely fun – the guy actually has a lot of very cool things on his mind…

On the other side – CNN went full blast on TV as Kutcher said – trying to win the race…
At 7 am CET you could see on Twitscoop.com that the things people were Twitting most about were anything Ashton said “Crocker” is the name of somebody Ashton tried to find out who were.
Friends and family @ the Kutcher residence really had a lot of fun crossing the finish line… and winning the race.. And backing him up on the phone – screaming about the first man on the moon – his friend P Diddy.

A lot af times when Ashton were talking live – he said “This is a media revolution” “power to the web” – and for sure it is. One man can now on Twitter broadcast to as many people as one of the largest media companies in the world..
